Skittles

I have a very soft side when it comes to animals. Ever since I remember, I have always gone out of my ways to catch stray cats and reunite dogs with their owners. My wonderful future husband also loves animals and offers his helping hand when needed.

Since working in Miami two kittens have found a home underneath my trailer at my job's construction site. The first was found about a year ago and since has found a wonderful home with me. Now, there's a little girl named Skittles who needs a great home. I have loved her and befriended her and wish she could be mine but since my fiancé and I have given a home to a stray cat from his job less than a year ago...our total pet tally is 1 dog and 3 cats...there is no more room in my one bedroom apartment.

I have talked myself in and out of leaving her here, but that's no way for a kitty to live. She needs a great home and a loving family. I will be taking her to the animal shelter in hopes she will find a loving home there. That's where I picked up my wonderful dog. But with a saddened heart I will say goodbye. But I know deep down she will be much happier, so I will smile.

Most people laugh at me and say who cares about those animals that I so joyfully rescue. I feel God puts me in their path to help the creatures that can't help themselves. So as long as I possibly can I will serve the Lord by caring for his beautiful creatures that walk the earth.
