Dear Ryder,
I cannot believe how quickly you are growing up. It was just a year ago when your daddy and I knew that you were going to be born. We felt so blessed that God picked us to raise you and now that you are here in our arms words can't express how thankful we are that we are your parents. You have made our world so much sweeter. I was never much of a morning person until you arrived, nothing wakes me up in a better mood than smiles from my sweet baby boy. Daddy doesn't mind being a few minutes late to give us extra kisses before he goes to work. You are laying in my lap as I write this...I have so many things I need to get done around the house, but nothing is more important than providing you a warm safe place to nap.
You are almost 3 months and 2 weeks old, some of your favorite things to do are: smiling when we smile at you, laughing so hard you get hiccups, chewing on your hands and tongue, cracking yourself up when you look in the mirror, standing up, grabbing for your toys and actually playing with them, you love talking to us...we don't know what your saying but I'm sure it's important, you love taking naps on your belly, putting your tiny hands in your mouth, grabbing our hands and stick them in your mouth, listening to us read books to you, hearing us sing to you in funny voices *you love the theme song from Fresh Prince of Bel Air, snuggling daddy or me while you are sleeping and taking breaks at work with MeMe and PawPaw. You are notorious to want to eat when I am getting ready to eat, you aren't a fan of the car rides around 7pm, you take 2-3 naps through out the day ranging from 30 min to 3 hours, you still wake up 3 or so times a night to eat, you've accidentally rolled over on your belly twice and it stunned you just as much as it stunned me and you spent your first Thanksgiving in Aggieland attending your first Texas A&M football game with your Daddy, Mommy, PawPaw, MeMe, Uncle Bridger and Uncle Logan.
Your daddy and I can't wait to take you to Florida in a month or so to meet more of your wonderful family. We have plans of taking you to the beach were your daddy and I had our first date...we are so excited to share you with everyone.
Ryder, when I look at you, my heart feels so full. My love for you is so much different than any other love I've felt. Often when you are cranky or grumpy, I am the person you are handed to so you will calm down. I am your person and I am so thankful for that.
I love you Ryder, your daddy loves you. We are so happy to have you in our lives.
Love,
Mommy & Daddy
