life as a 9 1/2 month old...

Last of the toothless smile...in the past few days we've been watching the two bottom teeth come in. He's handling it pretty well but you can tell he's in pain at night.
Kisses for mommy...he started giving kisses last week. When I ask him for a kiss he'll give me this cute little smirk and in lean forward. LOVE it. He's been giving hugs for awhile now. Airplane with daddy...Ryder LOVES play time. Kyle has been really enjoying Ryder's playful side more and more. I love to watch them play.

There is always time for more kisses.
MeMe got Ryder some teething biscuits the first day we spotted the teeth. She's been talking about how wonderfully messy these things are since Ryder was born...turns out she is 100% correct, they are extremely messy and Ryder loves them.
Ryder is still Mr. Independent loves to feed himself.
Ryder loves bath time in mommy's new tub. He splashes and tries to catch the water with his mouth. It's pretty hysterical. Strawberries always make Ryder giggle. Ryder is growing up so fast and we have so much fun with him.
Doing some back woop-de-doos with mommy before bed.
Ryder loves chasing the dogs and cats. He can't get enough of the cat's tails. The animals are really good with him for the most part. (Calypso has been known to give him the occasional swat.)
My boys are maniacs! Ryder loves to be tossed in the air, flipped over, you name it he's game. Ryder said his first words on May 24..."Dada." I was soooo excited to tell Kyle but he had just turned off his phone because he was heading out to an oil rig. I had to wait until Tuesday to tell him and Kyle had to wait until the following weekend to hear him say it himself.
We love living close to MeMe & PawPaw's house to go swimming. Ryder absolutely loves the water.
LOVES pool time. This kid has no fear...well other than sudden loud noises, when daddy does a cannon ball and the roomba (robot vacuum).
Poor Dakota has a bit of a hot spot and wouldn't stop licking it so we had to put on this collar. As you can tell, she is NOT a fan.
