Nearly 19 months...

I cannot believe how quickly this month blasted by...it was just Ryder's half birthday! Our sweet little man is having a tough time for about a week now with his top canines coming in. He's found comfort in snuggling and sleeping on mama and daddy. We don't mind the added cuddle time; it's kind of a selfish bonus.

Ryder keeps wowing us with all the words he knows, today I heard him say kitchen (of course it's Ryder style so unless you were around him constantly, you'd have no clue what he said)...other words include shoes, shirt, eggs, mama (yes he's been saying this for awhile now but it's directed to me), juice...the list goes on. He told Kyle the other morning that he wanted eggs to eat and he often tells me "juice" as he heads to the fridge. Other things he really enjoys... playgrounds! The little man has never been scared of a slide, kinda makes me worried. As he gets bigger and bigger I see more dare devil Kyle in him.

When I look at him I see a toddler, no longer a baby...makes me sad a little but so proud to be apart of his life. Thank you God for letting us be his mom.
This past weekend Kyle and I had a day project of extending our driveway. We stole the idea from a neighbor a few houses down. Turned out pretty good I think. We are hoping to do the other side as well. Those 7 rocks cost $100...wowzers...but worth every penny.
I have two of the cutest most handsome men ever. Their smiles melt my heart!
Thanks to my mom and dad, Kyle and I were able to have a date night to the Houston Rodeo to see Kid Rock. It was so much fun and it was nice to get away from Ryder the Monster of a Teething Toddler :) Kid Rock is an amazing artist...if you haven't seen him GO!

Other news, Kyle got his rebuilt engine back from the shop so he's very excited about that spending nights working away in the garage to get his truck back up and running. I started back up with working out...which means eating better and waking up at 4:30 on MWF for boot camp. I can't believe I used to wake up that early nearly every day when I lived in Miami Lakes. It feels good getting back into the swing of things. I'm hoping to be swimsuit ready by the summer.

The 1/8 Irish in me is wishing you a Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!
