My new Bike!

Ah biking...didn't learn how to ride a bike untill I was hum I don't remember but I do know I was a wee bit older than the average learn how to ride a bike age. I was happy riding on the back of the banana seat with my dad at the pedals. I'm pretty sure I've owned a total of 4 bikes in my life, which I think is pretty normal. You know had the smaller one when I was just learning then I moved up to a pink 10 speed. That thing was so cool! In college I thought I would get around on a bike when I lived on campus so I bought one at Toys R' Us. It was about $100 and pretty! (didn't ride it at all...it was more of a hassle than helpfull!) Which brings me to my bike now. Kyle built it for me mostly with random parts he's had from his bizillion bikes he's owned...

It's a 13" Jamis Dakar Pro, with mostly Shimano Deore drivetrain components (breaks, shifters, front and rear derailers), Deore LX crank & bottom bracket, Cane Creek shock, Manitou fork (it's no Marzocchi) but totally fits the bike, Shimano XTR hubs --really nice! (although I want the ones that make that cool sound; not the uber-expensive Chris Kings - Kyle knows what I'm talking about!) , Speed She saddle (female anatomy seat aka life saver) and I toally forgot what type of wheel set I have but when it all comes together it's one bad ass bike! I love it! Mucho thanks to Kyle.

So did it totally sound like I know what I'm talking about? :o) I kinda do, I remembered all that stuff. (only Kyle knows if something isn't right) It's my new hobby...I finally have a hobby. Woohoo!!
