NOLA

This weekend Jamie, Kyle and I headed to NOLA to suprise Liz for her birthday. Her husband had told her he had to entertain a client there for the weekend. But to her suprise, there was no client, only some of her bestest friends!

Best Friends + Awesome City = Great Weekend!

Our weekend adventure in a nutshell:

Friday - It took us 8 hours to get to NOLA due to some construction and 2 accidents. We partied on Bourbon Street & in the Royal Sonesta till 4am.

Saturday - Half of us slept in till noon the others woke up at 8. We all met in the French Quarter for some lunch and shopping/hanging out. Then went to the hotel and napped while waiting for Chris to get into town. Ate at Yo Mama's and hung out on Bourbon Street again but only till about 2am.

Sunday - Checked out of our hotel and ate lunch at the Riverwalk. Said our goodbyes and drove back to Houston. This time it only took 5 - 5 1/2 hours.
