our apple seed!

Your embryo (looking kind of like a tadpole) is starting to form major organs (heart, kidney, liver, stomach) and systems (nervous, circulatory, digestive). Baby's presence in your uterus triggers production of hGC (the hormone detected by pregnancy test)... which triggers production of other hormones like estrogen and progesterone... which trigger all those great symptoms you've probably been noticing! ~ The Bump

Oh my goodness I can't even tell you how excited I am about our baby. Kyle and I still have yet to tell our family and only a few people know ...we can't risk it getting back to my family before tomorrow. What a great Christmas surprise! I will blog all about it later....as well as how I told Kyle. He was pretty surprised!

I am so thankful God has blessed us with this little miracle. To follow week by week learning how he/she is growing is unbelievable...God is amazing! I won't be posting this right away but I wanted to document everything.

As for me, I feel pretty good. I had a cold all of last week that lingered! I did not want to take any medicine so I rode it out...pretty rough but all worth it. I definitely am a lot more tired than I've ever been in my life. I read in my What to Expect When Expecting that a pregnant woman laying down exhausts her body even when more than a non pregnant woman running a marathon...that is nuts! I pretty much go to bed early and make sure to get lots of sleep....even if I want to stay up my body tells me otherwise.
