Yes you read that right...SNOW in HOUSTON. On the way to work it was raining (nothing fun about cold rain), then mid day it was sleeting and then snow! It snowed for quite awhile and in some parts of Houston the snow actually stayed on the ground. Kyle and I listened to Christmas music as we drove to Rosenberg in the snow. The last time it snowed here was Christmas Eve in 2004. We just got out of church and there was a snow flurry...it was truly awesome. This weekend I put out all our Christmas decorations out...which are just our Nativity Scene, a Christmas tray, a strand of lights (I put the one strand up the weekend before), a 3' Christmas tree with ornaments and a Christmas tree angel. The Christmas tree angel is awesome. My mom made it for us out of my wedding dress material and her dress matches the style of mine. I’ll post a picture soon. I’m sure one day I won’t even remember what all I put out but for now, our Christmas decoration collection is small. I’m hoping to pick up a tree and other stuff at the day after Christmas sales.
I know I haven't blogged for awhile. As soon as I get a chance I'll post some pictures from Thanksgiving. We took a trip with my parent, little brother and dogs to the land near Austin. We had a blast.
