Your fetus is forming teeth and vocal cords... savor this, their non-functional phase. Baby is approaching normal proportions, with a head now only one third the size of the body. Intestines are in the process of moving from the umbilical cord to baby's tummy. (Much more convenient.)~The BumpBaby P is growing so fast! I can't believe I'm into my second trimester. I hear that this is the best of the three...or at least for most women. As for me, we will see. It does appear that some of my energy is back but still not in full swing by any account. I still suffer from morning sickness at night, which is no fun at all. Not to mention, pregnancy hormones are CRAZY! Oh my gosh, I'm so glad I have such a wonderful and understanding husband. Kyle has been so great!
Kyle and I had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary and my birthday. We went the classy route and had Papa John's and year old wedding cake for our first anniversary...as you can see, I wasn't feeling up to much more than that.
For my birthday, Kyle did GOOD! I was a bit of a wreck on the ride home but Kyle made it all go away. He surprised me at home (which was shocking because he should have been at work) with beautiful flowers (lilies and roses) and a super comfy Texas A&M shirt from Victoria's Secret. Next he tells me to close my eyes and leads me to the upstairs bathroom and tells me to open my eyes...and to my awe and wonder...he finished the bathtub! WOOHOO! I finally had a bathtub after oh 9 months of not having one! After giving him hugs & kisses and of course giggling while clapping my hands and jumping up and down, I kicked off my shoes and jumped in to admire the handy work. He pointed out my last gift, Stress Relief and Sleepy Time bath salts and bubble bath. Now didn't I tell you he did GOOD! I sure do love that man.
