Life is even sweeter with Ryder finally here. Kyle and I can't help but to smile everytime we see him and when Ryder smiles back even for an instant, our hearts melt.
Lately, I spend my week days hanging out with Ryder...nursing, changing diapers and napping. I have found time to walk/bathe the dogs, clean the house, take care of insurance for Ryder, go to the hospital for check up/lab work and head to my folk's office with Kyle. When Kyle gets home, I hand him Ryder and take care of whatever he needs so he gets time with his son. Typically they both end up asleep together on the couch...it is by far one of the sweetest things ever! On the weekend we've been heading to my folk's house at least one day and then hanging out at home the other day. My family loves to see Ryder and spend time with him...I'm sure they like Kyle and I around too. Kyle and I are really looking forward to the 3 day weekend with our son.
I can't give him enough kisses. Kyle and I have discussed that we love him so much differently than we've loved any other thing in this world. Yesterday, Kyle told me "our love made him" How sweet is that? I have some incredible men in my life!
The picture above was taken just a little more than a week or so after Ryder was born...this is why I was so uncomfy in the last few weeks...this big boy was in my belly. I'm very excited that I have already lost over half the weight I gained...I still have a ways to go but man it's nice to see the pounds come off so quickly.
Ryder was hanging out at PawPaw & MeMe's office...what a life!
Ryder loves his mommy's school. Gig'em Ryder!
Let's see, nursing is going good so far. Ryder has been using both disposable and cloth diapers lately. We like some of the newborn cloth diapers we have but then the others not so much. I'm hoping once he gets a bit bigger I'll like the next size covers more than I like the newborn covers.
Ryder will be getting his first real bath today!!

I'm so happy that everything is going so well for you. Keep up the breastfeeding, and the pounds will continue to fall off.
