As I stated in the title of this blog entry...8 weeks is not 2 months. You see Ryder turns 2 months on Monday and he was 8 weeks on Wednesday...that's 5 day from 8 weeks to 2 months, which never bothered me in the past but now, with everyday being so precious it does!
In the picture above, Ryder is wearing a gift that my friend Trey gave him...it was made by his mama. Ryder looks adorable in his handmade night gown.
Below is Ryder looking oh so cute in his punk rocker clothes. Kyle picked out the onesie at a local baby boutique in Houston and I found the shoes online. They were made by a company Me In Mind, which is a brand started by dads. Ryder has a few shoes from that company. He is just too cute! I love playing dress up with him. Ryder has been putting his hands in his mouth a lot lately, not sure if he knows what they are but he sure does love to chew on them. This week Ryder has been a bit more grumpy than normal. I'm not really sure what's going on with him. I know one of the nights he was not feeling grand because he was running a slight fever due to the shots he got that morning.
Ryder had his "2 month" check up on Tuesday. My little one is now 11lbs and 22.5" long, which puts him in the 49th percentile. His head circumference was in the 25th percentile...he definitely has his daddy's head! Dr. R said Ryder is doing great, he has a clogged tear duct so she gave us a script for some eye drops so we are hoping that helps. Other than that, we have been busy with work and hanging out. These next few weekends are going to be fun but busy. Today we have a wedding in Navasota and then my 10 year reunion. Next weekend, we will be in Austin for a friend's wedding celebration and the following weekend are going to Aggieland on Saturday to celebrate Logan's 22nd bday/tailgate/see friends and Sunday we will be at the airshow (assuming the weather is nice) SOOO excited about all of it.
Speaking of busy, I need to help Kyle with breakfast so we can walk the dogs and enjoy this beautiful weather. It is AMAZINGLY beautiful outside.
