Kyle is on cloud 9 these days. He bought a 1968 Chevy C10 as a project truck. I'm so happy for him. After all, he loves working with his hands and this is a great way for him to have a truck and a hobby. Two birds, one stone. Plus it doesn't hurt that it was pretty cheap!I can already picture Ryder in the garage helping his daddy with the truck.Checking out the engine (inline 6).
Now my dad, Logan and Kyle all own classic Chevy trucks. To put it lightly, these guys have a lot in common.
It is a three speed on the column. Kyle said it was a bit sketchy getting it home because it gets stuck in third. (He had to sit through a whole green light rotation because he couldn't get it out of 3rd...the cars behind him weren't so happy. ) There's a wooden thingy hanging from the dash that is attached to a wire...if it gets stuck in third, just giggle the wire and it should help....yikes.
He's got big plans for this beast but first thing is first, clean it up so the neighbors don't get too mad.
Kyle loves his truck already...more to come...
