Ryder you are 22 months old! Wow how the time flies. You are still a little guy. Don't even weight 25 lbs yet but that's ok. You are as cute as can be and everyone loves you.
These are the things you are in to...and when I mean in to I really mean INTO. You love to explore and get into everything.
You love:
JUICE, you can't get enough of the stuff. Depending on your mood...if we give you water you either throw it down demanding juice or hand it back politely and ask for juice.
Toy Story movies. You ask for "T T" all the time and when I say "Toy Story" you get so excited that I understood you.
The water. You get so excited every time we head over to MeMe & PawPaw's house because you know you get to swim. Jumping off the diving board and side of the pool makes you SMILE big.
Your toys...no this is not a new thing it's just you play differently now. We've all noticed that you can keep yourself entertained with your toys for a good period of time now. You walk around with your tools, cars, planes, trucks making all the appropriate noises.
Telling Stories. Although we have hardly any idea what you are telling us your stories are amazing. They include sound effects, gestures, laughs, the works. You love being the center of attention and telling your stories.
Climbing! Goodness you are a climber and a jumper/diver. I've caught you many times moving the big pillow so you can dive off the couch onto the pillow. You are a maniac.
Your family. You are still very much a mama's boy. I'm pretty sure you will remain that way and that doesn't bother me a bit. You and daddy love to play rough and tackle each other. You laugh so hard. Every day you come to the office you make time to say hello to everyone, MeMe is usually first, then you head to the back to say hi to daddy and PawPaw then Uncle Logan gets a wave.
To say "hi" and "bye" to everyone! It's great to see how friendly you are to people.
Trains. Those choochoo's have you hooked.
Talking to mommy and daddy on the phone when they are away. Both Kyle and I have gone out of town this month and really loved to talk to Ryder on the phone when we were away. I'm sure he loved hears us on the other end.
Oh side note...we are quite proud Ryder now knows and announces "peepee" and "poopee". I'm not thinking toilet training is in the near future but it's a start!
We love being your parents. You bring us this amazing joy. Looking forward to the summer and all it has in store for our family.
