Beautiful March Days

February was filled with so much rain (very needed but still gave us a bit of cabin fever since most of it came on the weekends) and yucky weather but so far March has been amazing. Sunny and in the 60-70s...doesn't get much better than this! Kyle's folks came into town for the last 2 weeks to help celebrate Kyle's 30th birthday and visit with us. We were able to go to the park, visit the zoo, check out the HLSR and relax.
We renewed our zoo membership because we are truly love the experience. Ryder loved  seeing all the animals, running around and going down the slides in the Children's Zoo.
We celebrated Kyle's 30th birthday at park with some friends...perfect setting to let all the kids play and get their energy out. Kyle was also able to go on a early morning bike ride with Chris at Memorial.

This past Sunday after church we added some spring color to our front bed. It's amazing how a little bit of flowers makes me so happy. Our gnome, Aggie, was quite pleased with our work.

Now onto the pregnancy stats...
How far along? 17 weeks and 3 days
Total weight gain/loss: 10ish I believe. I truly try to stay off the scale mostly because I hate it.
Maternity clothes? Mixing maternity with my normal clothes...started to put away lots of my regular clothes that no longer fit.
Stretch marks? nothing new
Sleep: Slept pretty well this week.
Best moment this week: This weekend I got to spend time with my mom and old friends, crafting and relaxing. Hearing the baby's heartbeat is always amazing. It was in the 150-160 range. Last weekend I got to hang out with one of my bestest friends and her family (long time over due) and let me tell you, it just rejuvenates my soul!
Movement: I have a mover. I love laying in bed and feeling the little one moving. It's ever so small movements but they make me so happy.
Food cravings: I have been loving sweets. Maybe this is why I hate the scale. See picture below.
Gender: Thinking girl...because when I see itty bitty girls I get all giddy thinking I might have one of my own soon. But again, no where near certain.
Labor Signs: negative.
Belly Button in or out: in
What I miss: Fitting into all my normal clothes and going to the gym. I need to get on it!
What I am looking forward to: Having our home to ourselves for the first time in nearly 2 years. Logan moved out on Thursday and we have had Kyle's folks visiting for the past 2 weeks which was lovely but we are excited to start the new chapter.
Weekly Wisdom:  When little kids ask you if you have a baby in your belly and then want to see it, what they really mean is they want you to lift up your shirt.
Milestones: Baby P2 can hear us now. I love that.

Lastly I leave you with a picture of deliciously yummy and beautiful sugar cookies; I ordered them to ring in March by celebrating the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and Saint Patty's day. A friend of mine makes them and they are absolutely fantastic! You can check her out Jolie Delights on Facebook.
