Twenty weeks down and twenty to go...I celebrated my 20 weeks with morning sickness. Baby P2 wanted to make him/herself known and I heard her/him LOUD and CLEAR. Busted blood vessel in my eye is a sweet reminder of yesterday. The crummy part is the next 20 weeks will be a lot hotter and I will be a lot bigger. Pretty sure I will be freezing Kyle out of the house...again. .
We had a great week well other than Ryder biting his friend in the back at school. I told him you can't bite your friends and he said "I go hide" and went under my desk. He knows when he does something bad and gets really sad when you scold him.
More Ryderisms:
When I ask Ryder "what color is this?" he says (typically) "blue" and I correct him an say "no, that's red" and he says "ya! red" in a way mean like duh mom, that's what I meant to say. It's quite cute.
He really loves everything red...fire trucks mainly. I think I've mentioned this before but anything with a flashy light is a fire truck. But he does get SUPER excited to see actual fire trucks. We saw a fire truck with it's ladder up on the way to school this week and he was over the moon.
Ryder asked to "cut" my nails last night which really meant file my nails. He was so focused.
If he had a choice he would eat popcorn and pizza for every meal. Ryder is quite proud he can open the fridge and get his own juice out. I'm happy about that fact too and gladly buy more boxed juice so he can be self sufficient...and because I'm lazy.
He is creating simple sentences...pretty much floors Kyle and I with every advancement that he makes. Ryder is quite a smart little guy.
The other day there were a bunch of crows in a field on the way home from work so I rolled down the window and shouted "CAAAAA" the birds flew away and Kyle cracked up. Now every time we see birds Ryder screams "CAAAAA" in this high pitched voice. He cracks me up.
On to the maternity stats....

Best moment this week: I really enjoyed my date at the zoo with Ryder. Even though it was super busy and we were only there for less than 2 hours it was fun.

What I am looking forward to: My level II ultrasound on Thursday! I cannot wait to see this little person and fall in love all over again. Plus hearing he/she is healthy and growing wonderfully will be awesome. This is when Kyle and I could find out if we are having a boy or a girl but we are waiting.
