our morning visitor

This morning when I went to take the dogs out we had a little visitor at our front porch. I kinda freaked out a bit when Dakota and the baby opossum were nose to nose. I'm sure the little one was just as surprised as me and started hissing at Dakota, who was about 500 times bigger than him.

I wanted to take a picture but I figured the flash wouldn't be good for him, after all it was 5:30 in the morning and still very dark. He was very cute for sure. I kept the dogs away and he wandered off into the trees.
