By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world. ~babycenter.comHow far along? 28 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: haven't stepped on a scale this week.
Maternity clothes? I have to stop myself from buying more dresses.
Stretch marks? nope.
Sleep: Usually pretty good, bathroom trips and crazy dreams are ever increasing <- remains the same.
Best moment this week: Hanging out with family and friends over the 3 day weekend.
Movement: I got an active one!
Food cravings: Anything spicy...loving the Buffalo Wing flavored pretzels from Target. AND peanut butter.
Gender: Oh goodness, who knows!
Labor Signs: nope
Belly Button in or out? still in
What I miss: Getting off the couch or bed with ease.
What I am looking forward to: Getting Baby P's room totally set up.
Weekly Wisdom: Stay out of Baby Gap! Those clothes are too cute but not worth the money!
Milestones: Kyle and I can really see Baby P moving. This week has been wonderful. Kyle and I spent Saturday and Sunday at my folks house. I worked on Baby P's quilt with my mom...ok I ironed a bit and helped with the math but she did the hard work and it looks great! We still need to find the backing for it.

Kyle and my dad worked on my parent's wood floors as mom and I sewed. Their floors are going to look awesome when they are done. Kyle also got to try out my dad's zero turn radius tractor out and loved it.
Sunday night we headed to Tommy & Maggie's for some BBQ and friend time. We had a lot of fun, stayed out past 10pm...party animal! Ha ha. Monday, I did nada all day long and I loved it...well other than write some thank you notes and laundry. Kyle purchased a weed eater and worked on our lawn and the empty lot across the street.
Kyle is finishing up with one of the most boring classes he's had to take yet - service writing- he's not a fan. But next week he starts super street so he's really excited about that. More cars on dynos = one happy Kyle. He's been a super hard worker this week... He's put in some good hours at work while continuing to to well in school. He rocks.
As for me, Baby P is growing and taking my belly with him/her. I can definitely see a big difference in just 2-3 weeks. Plus I have one active baby. Last night, Kyle and I went to Pappasitos for half price fajitas and either Baby P loves fajita or was playing Dance Dance Revolution in my belly all night. Kyle and I enjoyed watching my belly move when Baby P moved last night. It still is the coolest thing. Let's see there's so many things I'm counting down...83 more days till my EDD, which means 56 more days of actual work and 38 more days until I get to see family from Florida!!!
Random thought- Can't wait to go mountain biking with Kyle again. I really miss it and Kyle misses riding with me.
