Craft Time!

On Monday when I dropped Ryder off at school Ryder's teacher from last year asked me what I wanted. I told her that I wanted a girl because "there are so many girly things my grandma passed down to my mom that she passed down to me that I want to pass down to my kids and let's face it, boys don't craft, they don't like to sew." Then hours later I ate my words, gladly. I got an awesome pillow case cover as an early mother's day gift. It is made by My Ubby and it is all kinds of wonderful. It's the same company that made Ryder's baby blanket (gift from his great grandpa G) and we bought him a bigger blanket too. So naturally Ryder thinks it's his AND he might have a slight obsession with the color pink/red (pillow case is pink and gray). I told Ryder we will make him one and we headed to the fabric store. I had to coax him away from the pink fabric showing him the "cool red" fabric; this is when I realized Ryder favorite color is pink. He was so excited to help me cut and sew and he found all the buttons on the machine fun to touch and turn. It was a very simple project and I was so happy to share that experience with him.
He's very happy with the end result; however, he still wants my pillow.
Ryder wanted me to take a picture of his truck smiling...I think we have watched Cars and Cars 2 WAY too many times.

Ryderisms:
Ryder is the sweetest little guy. He always gives our boo boos kisses or grabs an ice pack from the fridge when Kyle and I say "ouch".

Ryder is a sponge! Point 1: as he's sticking his foot in my hands he's telling me "my feet hurt" and I say "you want me to rub them?" He says "Yep!" Since being pregnant I get regular foot rubs from Kyle. Point 2: Ryder puts his hands on his back and says "my back hurts! Ugh!" Kyle has had back pains for the last few weeks. We are always being watched.

On to the maternity stats....
How far along? 26 weeks & 5 days (93 days to go to EDD)
Total weight gain/loss: 30ish I'm really trying not to worry about it so I don't get on the scale too often.
Maternity clothes? Yes. I prefer dresses lately.
Stretch marks? nothing new.
Sleep: I love it and even when I sleep for 8+ hours the feeling of being fully rested is never really there.
Best moment this week: Booking flights to FL and getting in our tickets to Disney!
Movement: All the time.
Food cravings: Nothing in particular these days.
Gender: Total toss up this week. Kinda leaning towards boy but only slightly.
Labor Signs: Braxton Hicks started a few days ago...SO not fun. I heard they can hurt your second go round and that is the truth!
Belly Button in or out: neither.
What I miss: Morning iced coffee.
What I am looking forward to: Getting Ryder's old baby stuff washed and ready for P2.
Weekly Wisdom: Do not argue with a pregnant lady about sharing your fries...just friggin' share them!
Milestones: Got P2 some diapers. Very small milestone maybe not even a milestone but I'm excited about it. Makes me feel more ready.
