holy watermelon batman!

At week 37, your pregnancy is considered full term, meaning baby is likely to thrive after birth. Baby spends these last weeks in preparation for the outside world… meaning careful refinement of the blink, suck, inhale and exhale. Meconium, which you’ll probably find in the first diaper, is accumulating in the intestines. If (okay, as) you worry about giving birth, consider what it’s like for the little one. During the journey out of your womb, baby will produce more stress hormones than any other time in life.~thebump.com

How far along? 37 weeks = full term = woohoo!!!
Total weight gain/loss: Blasted, I'm up 40 lbs but all of that will come off...mark my word!
Maternity clothes? are sometimes uncomfortable...who would have thunk it?
Stretch marks? yep and I've honestly stopped looking for more because every time I do, I find more...
Sleep: Decent as long as I'm not dreaming about car seats, strollers or vampires (I'm reading the Twilight series).
Best moment this week: Lots of them...seeing friends from out of town, celebrating babies and birthdays and hanging out with my wonderful parents.
Movement: TONS still...I thought towards the end the little ones stop moving as much, but I guess Baby P never read that book.
Food cravings: yummy burgers lately.
Gender: still sticking with boy
Labor Signs: Braxton Hicks and yesterday I got some cramping...not sure what that's all about.
Belly Button in or out? out.
What I miss: Being able to breathe.
What I am looking forward to: Knowing if Kyle and I have a son or a daughter!
Weekly Wisdom: Sometimes even the magic pills (aka heartburn medicine) stop working...when they do let your doctor know...she's got more magic pills up her sleeve.
Milestones: Baby P is full term (on Wednesday)!!! Congrats Baby P!

This weekend was awesome and filled with friends, family and fun. Friday, Kyle and I went to eat at Beck's Prime with my parents. You see Thursday I got home and got the new Texas Monthly in the mail with this picture on the front...What pregnant women wouldn't think, oh my gosh I need a burger NOW!?? So flipping through the magazine I found that the #9 burger happened to be from a place called Beck's Prime in Houston...you better believe I got one as soon as humanly possible. SOOO YUMMY! Since reading that article, I've had 3 burgers...which is why my craving for this week is of course burgers.

Saturday, Kyle got up and went riding and I had my last hair appointment before little Baby P arrives. Kind of a weird feeling...there's all these "lasts" occurring lately. Like last time I'll see friends before the baby comes, last big date with Kyle before baby, etc...very weird that this whole just Kyle and I chapter of our family is closing so quickly. Ok back to our Saturday, that night Kyle and I headed to our friend's house to celebrate our other friend's birthday. Needless to say it was fun! They had built what can only be described is the slip and slide of death...it was this super steep thing that launched you off into the creek...the boys loved it and the girls liked watching their men turn into teenagers again. I will try to get pictures of this thing up. Some of my guy friends were so amazed by my baby belly when they saw me...I guess it had been awhile and this thing grows like crazy. All of them asked if they could touch it and were so excited to tough their first "really pregnant" belly. I got a good laugh out of it.

Sunday, I had was busy helping host a friend's baby shower most of the day. It was so much fun celebrating my friend's baby with lots of friends, some of which I hadn't seen in the longest time. She got so many cute little girl stuff...I secretly wanted it all :o) It's so hard to resist the cute little girl stuff! That night Kyle and I headed to the Imax to see Transformers with my parents. It was a very late Father's Day gift to my pops. Baby P was moving like crazy through the whole thing. I was so proud of myself, not once did I get up and go to the bathroom...even though the movie was 2.5 hours long!

Official countdown...23 days until Baby P's due date & no more than 17 work days left! WOOHOO!!!

Oh I'm so excited, Bridger will actually be in from Syracuse after or when Baby P arrives. I'm so excited that he'll get to be here when his nephew/niece is born. Of course Logan will too but he's only in Aggieland.

Speaking of Aggieland...I can't wait to tailgate with Baby P, my little Aggie, Kyle, friends and family!!!
