Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies. ~babycenter.com

Maternity clothes? skirts please!
Stretch marks? nope.
Sleep: Pretty good this week.
Best moment this week: Hanging out with friends over the 4th of July and FLORIDA FAMILY!!!
Movement: Yup...all the time. This kid gets the hiccups like you wouldn't believe.
Food cravings: Cereal!
Gender: no clue...so happy with either.
Labor Signs: negative.
Belly Button in or out? what belly button?
What I miss: Being able to bend down and pick something up with ease.
What I am looking forward to: Meeting this little one!
Weekly Wisdom: 70 degrees at 99% humidity is still pretty hot...we went to Natural Bridge Caverns.
Milestones: Last holiday before Baby P arrives!
So I'm a little behind with this week's post. Kyle and I had a great long weekend together. Friday we took it easy...well kinda. I worked on stuff for my folk's and did crafts for Baby P's room and Kyle made our yard look pretty and started to work on the house.
Saturday, Kyle and I had a wonderful 4th of July with friends. We went to our friend's sister's house in Bellville. It was a lot of fun but for a short time, I didn't think I was going to make it. That sun and heat can wear on this pregnant lady. But once everyone got in the pool...smooth sailing. On the way home Kyle and I saw so many awesome firework shows. I guess we timed it just right.
Sunday, we finally got to see some of our Florida family that we missed sooooo very much. Kyle and I spent quite a bit of time cleaning the house in prep for the company...but we never thought about baby-proofing. With 2 kids being under the age of 2, we should have thought that through a bit better. :o) Jordan quickly made it evident that Kyle and I will need locks on the cabinets, freezer, stove....etc. Every time she grabbed something not baby appropriate I would say "ooohhh Jordan can I have that?" and with a smile she would hand it over. I can't believe how quickly kids grow up!
Monday we headed to Natural Bridge Caverns near San Antonio for the day. Lots of fun but very warm. We took a tour of some of the cave. I forgot what tour we took but as we were walking up the last of the steep ramps with slippery floors (Kyle more than once told me to hold on to the rail) in some huge room this lady with a 6 month old or so strapped to her looks at me and says I can't believe you are doing this in your condition (it really wasn't so bad - but don't get me wrong I wasn't sprinting up the ramps). I told her all I want is some water and I would be so happy. I was jumping for joy when we got to the point where there were actual water fountains in the cave! After we got done with the tour, most of our group went mining for gems. It was hard saying bye to the family after such a short stay but it was SO good to see them all. Kyle and I miss them terribly. Needless to say I was WORN out after the 4 day weekend. But totally worth it! The work week went good and thankfully the next weekend came quickly!
