23 weeks down...17 to go!

Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With her sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that she's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango), you may be able to see her squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb. ~ babycenter.com

For those paying attention, yes Baby P has been com paired to a mango already but now it's a LARGE mango...I guess there's a difference.

How far along? 23 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 18 total...gained 1lb in the past 4 weeks
Maternity clothes? live in them...minus when relaxing at home working out at the gym
Stretch marks? nope
Sleep: Doesn't seem like I'm getting enough. Keeping Kyle up by talking in my sleep...at least it entertains him.
Best moment this week: Actually seeing my belly move when Baby P kicked/punched.
Movement: Stronger and stronger by the day.
Food cravings: Pickles, popcorn, tea...still :o) Gender: Leaning towards boy (gut feeling) but really don't want to be wrong
Labor Signs: nope
Belly Button in or out? In...it is getting more shallow.
What I miss: sleeping through the nights.
What I am looking forward to: Kyle seeing the belly move & shopping for fabric with my mom.
Weekly Wisdom: A clean house makes for a very happy pregnant lady.
Milestones: Random strangers are making comments about my pregnant belly. I LOVE IT!

I had my monthly doctor's appointment yesterday. She said my ultrasounds looked great and the baby is growing as he/she should. She also did some tummy measurement and then I got to hear the heartbeat again...Baby P's heartbeat is in the 150's. Next she went over what a contraction feels like and let me know I should go to the hospital if I get more than 6 in a hour for 2 consecutive hours. It's crazy that my doctor is already talking about contractions! Then she went on to say that next appointment (May 20th), which falls on the day I start my 3rd trimester, will be when I get my 1 hour glucose test...fun. After that my appointments will be every 2 weeks. WOW! I really think this pregnancy has flown by...4 weeks left in my 2nd trimester, it feels like I was just telling people I was pregnant.
