half way there!

Baby's digestive system is busy creating meconium (a tarry black substance made of swallowed amniotic fluid, digestive secretion and dead cells), which will fill the first diaper after birth. And, speaking of the diaper situation... baby's genitals are now fully formed! ~ the bump

WOW, I can't believe we are at the half way mark. The time has flown by so quickly. Kyle and I can't believe that we will have a little one in our house in just 4.5 months! We smile thinking that after this Easter, we will be spending all of our holidays with our munchkin! It is an amazing feeling.

Back to the meconium, I have informed Kyle that this diaper change will be his! He tries to give me a hard time about it now but I'm sure as soon as he sees what I will go through in labor and delivery, he'll be happy to clean baby's diaper.

We can hardly wait for our big ultrasound tomorrow.
