Houston Rodeo Time!

Logan called me around 4 yesterday and wanted to know if we wanted to go to see Alan Jackson that night at the Houston Rodeo. Heck yes we did, Holly (Logan's girlfriend) had gotten 4 tickets from a coworker and they were heading into town. This was Kyle's first big rodeo and man it was fun! There's a new event...Mutton Bustin' - it's where 4-5 year olds grab hold of a sheep and hold on for their dear life. So adorable but I have to say these kids have to have some guts to do this. We couldn't stop laughing at the calf scramble...some poor girl got her pants pretty much ripped off by a little calf and she never gave up....she never got a calf but she sure did try. The men and women in the rodeo have nothing but heart, all of them gave it everything they got and what a show! Next on Mr. Alan Jackson... He sang a bunch of great tunes and rocked the house.

We didn't make it home till around midnight, which is the latest I've been up for awhile, not to mention I had to wake up at 6:30am (I slept in a bit) for work and Kyle had to wake up at 5am for school. But it was totally worth it!Yea, I've been workin' all week
And I'm tired and I don't wanna sleep
I wanna have fun
It's time for a good time
