we love our avocado (not to mention guacamole)

Watch what you say... tiny bones forming in baby's ears mean the little one can now pick up your voice. Eyebrows, lashes and hair are starting to fill in, and taste buds are forming. And, if you're interested, an ultrasound might be able to determine gender. - The Bump

The day has come that we need to watch what we say because our kids can hear us...in this case it's our unborn 16 week old baby but hey what better time than now! I also read that baby's eyes can now see light, even though the eyelids are still shut. It never fails to amaze me of this miracle that's happening inside of me. As a side note, these pregnancy dreams of mine are crazy! I tend to wake up and snuggle Kyle because they aren't the happiest of dreams...very strange and vivid.

Kyle and I had a great weekend. Saturday, in continuing his birthday celebration, we went to Battleship Texas and the San Jacinto Monument. Kyle LOVED being back on a Navy ship and I loved hearing more stories of his days in the Navy. It was pretty awesome....the amount of guns on that ship is jaw dropping! (I'll post pictures soon) Saturday night, I wasn't feeling well at all and we hung out at the house, watched a movie and relaxed. Sunday we cleaned the house, went to church, grocery shopping (avocados were $1 - oh happy day) and then to the dog park. It was Cash's first time at the park and although he was super unsure at first, both him and Dakota LOVED it. It was an awesome dog park. When we got home, I was wiped out, had a headache and basically fell asleep around 6:30 as Kyle worked on the laundry and our massive closet. He does such an amazing job at keeping the house going when I just can't.

Tonight I'm hoping to make some of my tasty guacamole, both Kyle and I love the stuff.
