Baby's skeleton is hardening, changing from rubbery cartilage to bone, and fat is finally accumulating around it. The umbilical cord is getting thicker and stronger, and those little fingers and toes are now topped by one-of-a-kind prints. ~ The Bumpbabycenter - Starting to feel a bit off balance? As your belly grows, your center of gravity changes, so you may begin to occasionally feel a little unsteady on your feet. Try to avoid situations with a high risk of falling. Wear low-heeled shoes to reduce your risk of taking a tumble; trauma to your abdomen could be dangerous for you and your baby.
Oh man, just what I was looking forward to...an excuse for my clumsiness. I have felt a bit off kilter lately but not too bad. I've been really enjoying the bliss of second trimester (as I'm sure Kyle has too). Last week I was able to get to the gym and be home in time to help make dinner or make it myself. Small victories I tell ya. Speaking of small victories, last week for the first time I was able to feel Baby P moving around. It was such a cool feeling. The way I would describe it is someone poured soda in my tummy tum and the fizzing was baby. I felt it two nights in a row just before bed. I can't wait until the little one is kicking so his/her daddy can feel too.
Kyle and I had a wonderful weekend. Saturday, Kyle got up early to ride, I slept in and then we took the dogs to the park. Later on we did some grocery shopping and watched a movie. Sunday we headed to College Station. Kyle went riding with Logan and some buddies and I got to hang out with Edina and Madeline. Oh I also got to eat some Chicken Express & Double Daves...yum! I've been staying away from fast food these days but Sunday was my day to be bad and it was so good.
I definately have a little baby bump...
